Biography
Birthdate: Friday 24th of January 1964Age: 48 years young
(California, 1965) is a male pornographic actor who has appeared in a number of gay pornographic films, from the 1990s to 2004. His longevity is a testament to his charisma and his popularity amongst viewers.
"One of gay porn's best and brightest (...), Jake's videography includes some of the best films to come out of the early-to- late-1990s". Jake first made a name for himself with Falcon Studios, especially with Abduction 2 (1993), Hot House Entertainment (On the Mark, 1993) and director Chi Chi LaRue (Idol Country, 1994). He went on to a successful career with every other major gay studio, from All Worlds Video to Catalina Video to His Video. His role in The Code of Conduct 1: Stripped won him the Grabby Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1997.
One year later, Lucas Kazan Productions lured Jake out of early retirement, offering him the role of Aschenbach in Lucas Kazan's free adaptation of The Death in Venice (Desire: Journey to Italy 2, 1999. aka The Summoner). This Thomas Mann inspired character was quite a departure from Jake's earlier porn roles, but "Jake Andrews excels as Aschenbach, the married tourist who falls hopelessly in love and lust with dark-haired, dark-eyed dreamboy Tadzio".
Jake's career continued through the 2000s, thanks to a fortuitous association with Colt Studio. In 2006 he was inducted into the GayVN Hall of Fame.
