(born Jeffrey Dion Bruton April 24, 1966 in Falls Church, Virginia) is an American pornographic actor (porn star) who appears in gay and bisexual pornographic movies, He has also performed under the name J. Steele. During his early film career Bruton was a physical education teacher at Sterling Middle School and high school football coach at Park View High School in Sterling, VA. Upon discovery of his adult film career Bruton left both positions.
As a young man Jeffrey Dion Bruton was a fitness fanatic and body-building champion. Heavily muscled and a keen football player he enrolled on a physical education degree at the Georgia Southern University in Statesborough. Upon graduation in 1992 he became a swimwear and athletic clothing model for numerous catalogues and nude calanders. A year later he secured a post as a health and physical education teacher at Seneca Ridge Middle School in Ashburn, Loudon County. One of his main duties was to teach his pupils how to wrestle. However, Bruton's contented life was to crash around him when, in 1996, his sexy double-life was exposed in the Washington Post. It emerged that for 3 years he had been secretly appearing in numerous gay and bisexual pornographic videos, under the name 'Ty Fox'. Using his alias, Bruton had established himself as a superstar of porn in films like 'Ty Me Up'(1994), 'Revenge of the Bi-Dolls (1994) and 'Fox's Lair'(1995). When the truth was finally revealed Bruton was forced to resign from school and his long-suffering wife, Melanie, walked out on him, taking with her the couple's 6 month old daughter.
